SEEKERS
A downloadable game
Earth is gone. The survivors are not.
An alien civilisation took Earth's rarest resource then discovered that human conflict is what grows it. The survivors were collared, split into Hiders and Seekers, and sent back into reconstructions of their own world.
They believe they are playing to survive. They are the harvest.
A match
Hiders pick a room, set a trap, and listen. Seekers break the door locks, read the evidence, and hunt. Seekers win by finding everyone. Hiders win when the clock runs out. Six to twelve minutes.
Why it plays differently
- Every locked door is a Flow-Lock puzzle. Solving it costs the one thing Seekers can't buy: time.
- Open a door and it stays open for everyone, for the rest of the match.
- Hidden Hiders see only their room, and a narrow strip of floor outside it. You see the feet. Not the person they belong to.
- Footprints, sound and equipment give clues. Never answers.
- No guns. The skill is timing, listening, and reading other people.
This is a pre-alpha
what's playable: simple movement control and interaction logic
Expect rough edges, placeholder art and missing systems. Nothing here is final. What we most want to know: does the tension land, and do the door puzzles feel worth the time they cost?
Built in Lagos
ESEGAMES is a small studio in Nigeria. Seekers launches with twenty characters, half of them African and five Nigerian from five different cultural backgrounds. Characters are identity, never advantage anyone can hide or seek.
